Keep a piece of natural fiber fabric, or several pieces of paper layered, between the iron and the garment and patch. If I need to fix another hole, I’ll look for this product again.

I had to cut it down to size so that it would fit and that is what I wanted. It was easy to apply and has a good bond. Thank you studiov2 for offering this product. My local dollar stores didn't have any for me to purchase.

The patches are actually stapled to the cardboard. I only need a small part of the patch but if you need the full size, beware your patch will have staple holes in it.
