Although there is a difference in the outer casing it would have fitted onto the existing baseplate. I chose to change it out, but if you aren't confident electrically you could use the existing one.The fan unit arrived when expected, in pristine condition, and was really easy to change out. Took me 20 minutes, but would only have been 5 if I hadn't changed the baseplate.I'd use this seller again.
