It was securely packaged for shipping with a smaller cardboard package inside the larger mailing package.After all this there was a paper wrapping around the book which was securely around the book. The book was described by the seller accurately. Since I haven’t collected first edition books before, I’m hoping that value is on target for what I paid for it.
