I was delighted to find the letter originated close to my home in Richmond, VA. The soldier described being on the front lines during the siege of Petersburg. Also discussed was his disgust of Ohioan presidential candidate Vallandigham (peace Democrat). Great value to me for the history. Packaged securely, shipped quickly. GREAT vendor who I rate with five stars!

Equally Smashing is the Seller who had the FDC in a plastic envelope protected with cardstock and shipped out on the first business day after I purchased it. This FDC is exactly as described and an excellent value.
