It was packaged securely with no concerns for travel damage. While I have not yet had the opportunity to program it, and the universal turn off function doesn't seem to work as described in the instructions (turned on my TV instead of turned off) all other functions appear to work as intended, with the control recognition, light and sounds. Seller was helpful and communicative when required.
