Even with the small size, these Tektronix TDS220 Digital Oscilloscopes offer dual productivity enhancing modules. The Communication Extension Module allows for printing screen shots via a parallel port as well as programming for RS232 and GPIB. The second module, Measurement Extension Module, complements the other module by combining FFT analysis and multiple measurements. All of these functions are also enhanced by the use of helpful accessories such as WaveStar software and an AD007 GPIB-LAN adapter. Designers have put a lot of thought into making the Tektronix TDS220 because it reduces the learning curve and amount of time associated with analog instruments. For ease of access, knobs and buttons are grouped by functions to offer complete access to controls. In fact, each vertical channel has an individual scale and knob.
