The Jaybird 2 has a few extra features like active noise cancelling vs. SurroundSense when you need to be aware of your surroundings. One of the reasons I prefer these earbuds is the ability to use either independently to ensure use all day; some other buds need to have the right bud operating to allow the left one to work. Fairly water resistant, so they are great for working out.

Download the app to get access to the EQ feature that allows you to customize the sound to your liking. It's important to try the different earpiece sizes to get the right fit. With the ANC active, I get about 8 hours of playback. The Find My Buds feature can be helpful for determining the general area where your buds are.
