Synopsis
In the course of his storied career as a manager, agent, and producer, Shep Gordon has worked with-and befriended-some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, from Alice Cooper to Bette Davis, Raquel Welch to Groucho Marx, Blondie to Jimi Hendrix, Sylvester Stallone to Salvador Dalí, Luther Vandross to Teddy Pendergrass. He is also credited with inventing the "celebrity chef," and has worked with Nobu Matsuhisa, Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, Roger Vergé, and many others. In this wonderfully engaging memoir, the captivating entertainment legend recalls his life, from his humble beginnings as a shy, unambitious kid growing up on Long Island to his unexpected rise as one of the most influential and respected personalities in show business, revered for his kindness, charisma-and fondness for a good time. Gordon shares riotous anecdotes and outrageous accounts of his freewheeling, globe-trotting experiences with some of the biggest celebrities of the past five decades, including his first meeting with Janis Joplin in 1968, when the raspy singer punched him in the face. Told with incomparable humor and heart, They Call Me Supermensch is a sincere, hilarious, behind-the-scenes look at the worlds of music and entertainment from a consummate Hollywood insider., An eye-popping peek into entertainment industry from the magnetic force who has worked with an impeccable roster of stars throughout his storied career. Items were not as described, the items color was listed as black but were navy blue in color. I contacted the seller and let them know they did not bother to reply. I even told the seller I would keep them because I needed it for the day I opened the package. All they had to do was reply with "our mistake" something but i got zero reply hence the netural feedback. I did have to purchase the correct black ones from a different seller. Pictures show my old black one with the new blue ones.

Excellent. Matches the lid we already had perfectly. Exactly what we were looking for. The pan was as described and better because looks almost new. Reasonably priced and great way to save money while completing our cooking equipment for our guest home and save money in the process. Highly recommended seller. Speedy shipping and well packaged.
