This was a bit of a challenge for a first project, but with a bit of effort it turned out to be quite beautiful. The functioning clock provided great satisfaction and was a perfect choice for an inexpensive clcok project. I really recomment this item for anyone interested in clocks and electronics.

It only took about 2 hours to build, and I'm sure I could have done it even faster after the first two. Since they came with no instructions, that slowed me down some. But speed is never my goal when doing a DIY kit, merely satisfying my curiosity is what's important. Glad the kits did not have surface mount components. Through-hole components are simpler to work with for an old guy. I wish I would have ordered a plastic case for the little clocks. Oh well, hindsight!
