The initial fit in my No. 439 protractor head was very tight, but after disassembling the head for some long overdue cleaning and lubricating the fit improved considerably. With a little wear from normal use the new blade should slide as easily as the original 18 inch blade. The transaction went perfectly smooth with good communication. A+ to the seller!
