I measured the indicated run out with a precision shaft in the chuck at well under 0.001" - I was delighted! The stepper motor hook up was easy, I simply matched the color of the wires to those inside my CNC controller box and it just worked. I could not be more delighted with this purchase! The tail stock is of equally excellent construction and includes a live center. Very nice.
