However the fabric had been placed inside an inner clear plastic bag, which had been heat sealed near the fabric. This meant that I had to tear the plastic & discard it. I was married over 40 years ago and even then used to wash & reuse plastic bags. So this was a waste. The measurements of the fabric were exact, but this included fringing along each edge, slightly reducing the seam allowance.

Anyway I am very grateful to this person for making these pretty delicious pieces of Harris tweed available to us around the world in small bits at a price we can afford. I am so grateful to own some of my own, so thank you.
