The seller sent me an email message, prior to the dispatch of the item, with a photo of a handsome WWII officer as the original owner, photographed in 1945, that offers me such a warm feeling and a sense of sentimental interrelatedness. Surface of card of front and back of dust jacket had much more silverfish eating damage than the holes as pictured , but was not visible in pictures themselves because of texture of card used .
