Negligible casting distance increase and no luck increasing effectiveness with 1/16oz lures (over stock). It could simply be the reel and not the bearing "upgrade." I'll leave them in as I can't return them, and changing the bearing on the spindle was a pain. Reel oil makes a little bit of difference in noise but the reel doesn't feel or sound as smooth as it did before.

The bearings arrived earlier than expected which is always great. I installed them and tested the reel today. Huge difference in performance and Ike recommend the upgrade for anyone. I’d also recommend this ensure for your bearings too. Smooth casting, lighter lures and a quieter sound signature. Well worth the purchase!
