The amount of physical effort to slide it over the wires was noticeable, and in the initial attept to test-fit it on our bowl-lift mixer whisk, the Whisk Wiper broke. The seller was very quick to refund our money and even sent us a new replacement Whisk Wiper for free. That is excellent customer service. Our suggestion to the manufacturer would be to use a softer grade of silicone.
