INDICATIONS

There are some regulations that need to be adhered to in order to protect the diodes from any damage.

They don’t live forever, and their “life time” depends on how many times it is used and the conditions that they are submitted to.

Remember :

DO NOT touch the diode directly and please USE a proper heat sink.

It can be hurt by electrostatic discharge (use an anti-static wrist band and mat), passing too much current through the diode or overheating or very high temperature.

When it comes to supplying current to the diode, observe the polarity of the diode (positive and negative terminals... The positive terminal of the diode has a red mark).

How long do I have to wait to get my packet?

As soon as payment is confirmed, we take between 1 or 2 business days to prepare and pack your order according to your needs, after that we ship the packet into a appropriate (protecting) envelope and send it by certificate mail.

That depends in how fast the local or international postal service handles your packet.

Why the packet takes too long to arrive to my country?

We pay shipping costs and send the items by priority mail so they can ship the packet a little bit faster than the regular mail. However, we have no control how fast your packet is handle by the international customs. That's why we provide the tracking number which can be used to follow the item until it is delivered.

Why eBay doesn't show the tracking information?

eBay tracking pop-up normally shows where your packet may be located. However, it sometimes doesn't have register the company/services used that provides the tracking codes and other tracking information.
In some cases (sometimes, for buyers how use USPS for example) it appears once the packet arrives to a local custom area and if they scan the code bars property on their systems.




Where can I track and verify the tracking code you gave me?

  You can verify your tracking number from Costa Rica to 1st international check point if you visit: correos.go.cr
just go to the "rastreo" tab located on top of the site and paste your tracking number, you should see the details there.

If you're in North America, as soon as the packet arrives to any state of the US and US customs scan the tracking number and add it into their system, you may also follow your packet using USPS website

If you're in other country or use a different postal service, as soon as it arrives to your country, you may track it on your local custom office website. It might show the delivery info if the page allows you to see it and the code bars were scanned property.

If I just want to use the diode to cut, grave or burn stuff, what materials are recommended? Do I need to use another components so it can do the job?

The infrared diodes can be used for cutting, graving and/or burning some materials. Not all of them works. For example, you can try them on thin wood, foam (dark foam or black surfaces work great) and some plastic materials. For metal and other heavy wood, we recommend you use more powerful laser, such as the CO2 lasers since these will work much better for your projects and you can cut them as well.

Some additional components will help the diodes work in optimal conditions: Glass LENS are necessary so it can focus properly to a specific point. Also it is necessary to mount the diode into a metallic laser housing to dissipate heat and then, connect the laser diode to a laser driver and/or power supply for current adjustment or a special power source.

Just keep on mind that a basic portable kit  can be used for cutting, graving and/or burning some materials , it may be powerful just for some moments because it depends of the batteries support, that's why, we'll include soon a semi-professional driver (power supply) that will use AC current so it can be connected it to any 120VAC sockets.
