As a bildungsroman
The cd contains thirteen songs, six of which by the talemted composer and performer.
The group that plays always with her offers a technically flawless.
I love the eay yhat montcalm seems engraved on her own voice: scratches and caresses continuous ringing of interest for the listener. My favorite song is Comme je suis: it represents her in full way.
I highly recommended this cd to those who love jazz and jazzy!

K.D. Lang , Drag, Warner, 1997
1 persone su 1 l'hanno trovata utile This work by a great singer, in Europe, when it was in some (truly, rare; in Milan, or Rome, not in more little towns...)cd shops, the people don't understood the big travel across many years of music from United States; especially the traditional Country music (but not last the Soul music, or all experience in the time by coloured people)
It's not happy that in the world, a cd so rich in sonority and passion for traditions and personal research, a trial for to conjugate oldies and news in the music, would be not appreciate. I like this work by K.D.Lang. I felt a light melancholy and a little hope when I can hear it. I'm sorry that in my country it's enough impossible to try cds by K.D. Lang.

Jazzy evocativo di glorie anni Ottanta
Ho conosciuto questo sound attraverso la segnalazione di un amico che vive in Canada; apprezzo la freschezza non priva di riferimenti e supercitazioni dal jazzy francese; talvolta gli accordi evocano, celebrando, certa musica lieve degli anni '80, in particolare i lavori di Isabelle Antena. E' un lavoro assai godibile dal punto di vista di un ascolto attento ma anche meno impegnato. Comunque un buon prodotto. La voce di Vendredi, giovane cantante svizzera, e' sensuale e accattivante. Il recitativo efficace. Mi augiro di ascoltare altro da lei, in futuro, auspicabilmente elaborato su virate piu' convintamente jazz.
