La fraternit humaine n'est-elle qu'une illusion dans notre monde, ou bien existe-t-il des lieux o elle peut se vivre en v rit ? Depuis pr s de 70 ans, le Camp Biblique de Vaumarcus offre un espace possible de rencontre avec la parole biblique, avec soi-m me, avec les autres. Par des techniques cr atives et des animations actives, l'implication personnelle de chacun face la Bible suscite une communion de partage qui fait na tre une fraternit pr cieuse et durable. Ce livre raconte tout d'abord l'histoire de ce camp, cr en Suisse par la th ologienne bibliste Suzanne de Di trich et le pasteur Pierre Bonnard en 1943. Devenu oecum nique en 1971, il a su s'adapter aux volutions de la soci t , en int grant les apports des sciences humaines, jusqu'aux techniques cr atives d'aujourd'hui. Ensuite, la r flexion s'appuie sur les travaux des th ologiens Paul Tillich et Dietrich Bonhoeffer pour mettre en vidence le lien entre communaut fraternelle et rencontre avec le texte biblique. Le camp permet ainsi de d couvrir les richesses de chacun, travers une parole qui invite ne pas juger l'autre. Ainsi perdure une communaut fraternelle interg n rationnelle et multiconfessionnelle.
