The late Bill Peascod was vice president of the British Mountaineering Council and of the Fell and Rock Climbing Club. Forty years after first climbing the challenging Eagle Front near Buttermere, he encountered it again with Chris Bonington during the filming of the award-winning television series Lakeland Rock .
