Happy ending to this is that vacationing neighbor who received the book returned home & brought it to me. Well packed & protected for mailing. As described, wonderful Better Homes & Gardens Storybook 1st addition 1950 book in excellent condition, no tears or marks, good hardbound binding. Great addition to my collection of children literature. Super eBay find & buy at a super value.
