The Microsoft Desktop 800 2LF-00001 Wireless desktop uses a Microsoft 2.4 GHz Transceiver V8.0 signal to connect the keyboard and mouse to a Windows PC or Mac iOS system and remove wires from the office or workspace. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless and feature Windows plug-and-play technology that makes desktop computer installation and setup fast and easy. The Microsoft Desktop 800 2LF-00001 wireless keyboard can also be used to give more utility and freedom from a laptop, while adding a wireless mouse for comfortable gaming. Accessories include batteries, USB transceiver, and manual. The mouse can be used by either right or left-handed users, and it has a high-resolution optical-type tracking system that will move the cursor at an accurate 1000 dpi. The mouse also has a scroll wheel, a battery indicator light, and an on/off switch to conserve battery power. A customer can easily check battery life and power the mouse down if needed. In addition, the Microsoft Desktop 800 2LF-00001 wireless keyboard features the Optimized Power Management System so that the hardware automatically adjusts to use in order to conserve energy. The Microsoft keyboard dimensions are 19.1 inches long, 8.93 inches wide, and 1.79 inches high. The 800 2LF-00001 Wireless Keyboard weighs 45.8 ounces. The transceiver is a small USB 2.0 device that weighs only .09 ounces and is 1.09 inches long. The Microsoft Desktop 800 2LF-00001 wireless keyboard is inclined slightly in the center for comfort, which is good for long gaming sessions or late nights at the office. The corners are also curved, and the keys feature a soft-touch finish, which makes it easy on the hands. The small USB transceiver takes up just over an inch of space when plugged into a desktop, laptop, or other device and does not interfere with other USB accessories. The mouse is shaped to work for either a right-handed or left-handed user. This wireless mouse and keyboard will work with Microsoft Windows 10, 8.1, 8, RT 8.1, RT 8, and 7. The 800 2LF-00001 Wireless Keyboard will also connect to a Microsoft Windows 10 phone. In addition to the Windows connectivity, the 800 2LF-00001 keyboard can be used with Macintosh Mac OS X v10.7 to v 10.10 and Android 3.2 to 5.0. The Microsoft Desktop 800 2LF-00001 Wireless Keyboard can be configured in 104-key Chinese, 104-key English Canada, 104-key English North America, 105-key UK English, 105-key French, 105-key Spanish, 106-key Korean, and 107-key Brazilian (Portuguese). The wireless range of the Microsoft Desktop 800 2LF-00001 wireless keyboard and mouse is up to 15 feet, or 5 meters. The device includes 2 AAA batteries, and typical battery life is 15 months. Keyboard life is described as 5 million actions per key. Hot key features include a Windows 8 Charms key, a Windows Start key, and a button to launch the calculator. The Windows Start key allows the user to instantly launch Windows if the desktop or device has a Windows Vista, Windows 7, or later operating system installed. The keyboard also has keys for mute, volume, and play/pause to control audio without using the mouse or computer cursor. The Microsoft 2.4 GHz Transceiver V8.0 provides a secure wireless connection to keep computer data and transactions safe.
