Uprising 2: Lead and Destroy, takes place some time after the events in the original Uprising. The universe you'll fight in has been under the control of an oppressive imperial government known as the Imperium. In its long reign, a rebellion would be inevitable, as there would be those who would become disenchanted with the status quo. It's with this Rebel Alliance that you fought against, and brought down the Imperium. Unfortunately, a new foe waits its turn to conquer things in your part of the universe. This new alien enemy, called the Trich, pose a new threat to humanity, and once again, only you, harnessing the power of the Wraith tank, can stop them.<br><br>Uprising 2, as in the original Uprising, is played from a first-person perspective of the battlefield from within your Wraith tank. It's from the Wraith that you'll personally command your forces on the battlefield, as the Wraith has the ability to beam in and out troops, tanks, AAV's, and Bombers at a moments notice. This ability, plus the weaponry on your own Wraith makes you a force to be reckoned with.<br><br>The gameplay consists of single missions, a campaign, and multiplayer options. There are about thirty missions in the campaign, and these maps can be replayed in the single mission section of the game. A mission editor allows you to create more single and multi player missions. Multiplayer allows you to play and build and fight with a plethora of friends on either Mplayer or Heat.net<br><br>The graphics use either 3dfx accelerated or software-based non-accelerated graphics. The game requires DirectX compliant sound and video cards also.
