I don't think this is waterproof, so I didn't dare to have this one on the outside of the car. Very poor reception on both vhf and uhf. Where I know I have full impact on the snr, I only got half snr. Also for receiving air frequencies, this is bad. My whip-antenna that is attached directly is 100% better. I do not recommend this product. The positive is quick shipment from the store.
