DIP ICs came pre-inserted into the sockets, so that’s handy if you want that, a bit of a pain if you don’t. Came packaged with the microchips and sockets inserted into a square of what I believe is polyethylene foam and held down with clear packing tape, and that assembly sealed in an anti-static bag.Commodore 64 / ZX Spectrum / Atari / Amstrad - 4164 Ram Kit incl sockets - USA (N° 286016381511)
