Cheese knife was wrapped in bubble wrap which was effective for transportation. Package taping was affixed so that I did not have to cut wrapping the minimizing possible potential damage to the cheese knife. The knife was as described and in very good condition. I am thrilled to have found this as plan to give this to one of my adult children for Christmas. Great value for this cheese knife especially given that this is a vintage knife. Thanks
