Gerard Baptiste was a chopper enthusiast and a firefighter with lower Manhattan's Ladder 9. In August of 2001, he bought a battered old 1979 Honda CB750 LTD with the intention of fixing it up. But two weeks later, along with nine of his coworkers, his life was cut short in the collapse of the twin towers on September 11th. This documentary focuses on the 15-month effort by his surviving colleagues--helped by corporations, local businesses, and friends--to restore his motorcycle as a way of honoring his memory. John Allison and Tom O'Grady's insightful film is a touching examination of the FDNY's tribute to one of its own.
