The description did use the term "INDUCTIVE" which made me think it may have been an impedance matching transformer type. However measuring the DC resistance between ports shows it to be the more common resistive type. At the end of the day it was a reasonable price, AND I didn't have to go out to the shops! Many thanks.

Only recently thought of ariel splitter. Magic. I know you can get all channels on Sky. But I have an intermittent signal. Now I have backup.
