I was able to clean it up and fix it together with adhesive lined heatshrink which looks OK and is very solid. It works just fine with a Dell power supply that I already had (with the larger barrel connector). It's a very solid bit of kit and is quite heavy. You wouldn't want to travel with it.

I contacted the seller the next day as the wrong power lead had been packed. The reply was in *5mins* - they had already realised, and posted the correct lead, supplied the tracking number, and it was receivedthe following morning. Most pro-active seller I've ever purchased from in 20+ years of using ebay. OUTSTANDING!!!

Price was reasonable. It was delivered well packed and ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY !!!! EVEN THOUGH THAT WAS A SUNDAY !!!! Whether that is great service or a disgrace depends on how you feel about deliveries on Sunday? Personally I feel Sunday should be the one day I can to come and go as I please, without worrying about deliveries. Undelivered RM POST is a total nightmare to retrieve.
