I asked the seller before i bought the item if it worked as it was intended and the response was positive (also fairly quick response). Due to the Thanksgiving holiday I was not able to test it out until now. It does in fact work nicely and I am pleased with my purchase. Seller packaged the item extreamly well and shipped it fast. The item was sold as used and there are some very minor flaws but it will cook steaks!
