Piledriver has a large instruction window with two ISA extensions: F16C and FMA3. It has a precise branch predictor and an enhanced scheduler in the execution units so that it processes individual instructions quickly. The performance levels and energy efficiency of the AMD FX-6350 are enhanced by both the Bulldozer and the Piledriver architectures. The six-core CPU AMD FX-6350 processor with Socket AM3+ and integrated Wraith Cooler is fully unlocked. This unlocked clock multiplier provides more headroom for an incredible over-clocking capability. The AMD OverDrive software is easy to use and provides you with performance and power that is highly configurable. The 32-nanometer Vishera 125W die shrink manufacturing tech improves efficiency by reducing leakage, producing enhanced thermals, and increasing the clock rate headroom. The AMD FX-6350 processor with 3.9GHz operating frequency is equipped with AMD Turbo Core technology, which boosts performance. System bottlenecks are reduced by the HyperTransport Technology (HTT), which is a low-latency, high-speed point-to-point link.
