My address has been the same on eBay for the last 20+ years, with dozens of buying and selling transactions. Seller didn't even try to contact me in any way to try to resolve this "problem" with an address, proving there wasn't really a problem. They just immediately cancelled the order. More likely, the seller decided to sell the item for a higher price, or made a mistake in inventory and tried to blame it on the buyer.
