Synopsis
Richly illustrated and informative, this guide brings together the expertise of four popular authors to cover the basics of watercolor technique in an easy-to-follow format. Twenty detailed step-by-step demonstrations showcase the versatility and beauty of watercolor paints while teaching the processes of laying down initial washes, creating light and shadow, using perspective, and transforming sketches into finished paintings. Special attention is paid to landscapes--one of the most popular subjects for hobbyists--with advice on capturing the fleeting effects of sun, storm, and mist in paintings of rural architecture or the sea., This richly illustrated, highly informative compilation of four of the successful Watercolour Tips & Techniques books explores the versatility and beauty of watercolours in depth. With 20 detailed step-by-step demonstrations and a wealth of information, the authors cover every aspect of this exciting medium in an easy-to-follow, inspirational way. Using his vibrant and colourful palette, Arnold Lowrey starts off with expert advice on all the techniques needed for creating interesting pictures, from laying initial washes to adding interest and detail. Wendy Jelbert follows on, showing how to transform sketches into finished paintings, with advice on capturing special moments, creating light and shade and recording happy memories. Perspective is an important part of the painting process and Geoff Kersey shows how to create an impression of depth and distance using dramatic skies and elements in the landscape. Finally, Barry Herniman explores the effects of sunlight, shadows, mist and stormy skies on a range of popular subjects. This book is an invaluable addition to any artist's library, with the authors revealing the secrets and delights of capturing many different subjects from early morning landscapes to rural buildings, seascapes and more.

A very slightly used Lumix ZS-70 camera that looks brand new. I have good experiences with my previous Lumix cameras so I am familiar with the basic camera layout and menus. I wanted this particular model as the newer one did away with the electronic viewfinder AND this one has a 30x zoom. I compared some pictures with my Panasonic FZ-1000 and the pictures were comparable. The reviews of this seller convinced me to buy from her and I am glad I did. Highly recommended seller!!!!!

I have totally forgotten to check my feedback lately! Thank you SO much for your review! I greatly appreciate it and I am very glad the camera worked out so well for you! Always good to hear that something has a new good "home" instead of sitting idle!
